No Accounting for Taste
How big of a leap of the imagination
does it take to see that the corporations
[straight] in a number of different nations
doesn’t have to care about the population
 There is no accountability
Just a bank account and profitability
 You can ask for sustainability
They don’t know what that word means
Cos there’s no accounting for taste
and there’s no accounting for human waste
On account of that, we’re running the race
rushing ahead to destroy the human race
All the resources we burn and rob
 but it’s not my fault
 I’m just doing my job
 There’s a big wheel and I’m just a cog
 and it’s not my fault
 so shut your gob
Cos there’s no accounting for taste…
You tell me I’m looking backwards
You tell me I’m using black words
But if you are looking forwards,
please do tell me, what’s the destination?
Cos there’s no accounting for taste…
Trees fall down and buildings spring up
and you’re drinking from that silver cup
and your children will be suffocating
on the exhaust fumes that you’re creating
Cos there’s no accounting for taste
and there’s no accounting for human waste
On account of that, we’re running the race
rushing ahead to destroy the human race
and everything else too, of course
